The Group at the 2012 Spring MusterWELCOME TO OUR WEB SITE!Welcome to our web site. We are the Florida Buccaneers Chapter of the Special Military Active-Retired Travel Club (SMART). The SMART Organization was formed to provide a way for Active and Retired Military members and all honorably discharged veterans from the U.S. Armed Forces who are interested in recreational vehicles (RVs) to get together and enjoy each other's company and share the fellowship that developed in the military. The Chapters are formed under the SMART National Organization. The Florida Buccaneers Chapter was formed in the general area of Tampa Bay but has branched out to include members who are in a much larger area and include members on the East and West Florida Coast and through the Center of Florida. Some of our members even claim residence in the far North and West during part of the year. If you are a retired or active member of the Military or have been honorably discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces you are welcomed to visit with us and join us. We are a large friendly group of folks who own more than sixty rigs. We have musters (called rallys in the civilian world) currently in January, March, May, and November. Our November Muster is highlighted by attending the Veterans Day ceremony at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Our musters usually can expect twenty to thirty rigs. This web site is developed for the visitor who would like to get a taste of life with the FL Buccaneers and for the members who would like to keep informed about happenings in the Chapter. Enjoy... comments and, especially, compliments should be passed along to the WebMaster, Buster Williams at geojoywms@yahoo.com If
you are not yet a member of the S*M*A*R*T National Association and would
like to check out information about the National Association, And, of course, we want you to be a member of our crew! (Sorry, but you have to be a member of the National first... it's the rules)
